Text Box: SOLO & UNPLUGGED: REVIEWS FROM THE ROAD

Aloha Willie,

It isn't very often my wife and I get to witness a musician with such phenomenal talent but bra you've got it!! Your skill and artistry with a guitar is without compromise. I still can't get over your mastery. I've added your web site to our list of favorites so we can keep tabs on your bookings. We will see you again and we hope soon, mahalo for such a great show in San Diego.

Regards,

Michael and BJ
p.s. we also get to enjoy your CD's in our home

Dear Mr. Willie K

I just wanted to let you know that my husband and I really enjoyed your West Coast Tour. We were lucky enough to be able to see you at Spreckles Theater in San Diego, Hilo Hatties in Anaheim, and at Dano's Beach Grille. I would have cont up the coast but my husband was afraid you might think we were stalkers. Anyway I'm ashamed to say that we only just learned about your music four years ago on my first trip to Maui. My husband was born in Hawaii (but his parents are both Samoan) but I had never been to Hawaii until he took me to Maui for my birthday. We heard your music on KPOA and bought the
CD's that were available right away, the sales person told us about Hapa's and lucky for us it was Monday night. We both couldn't believe the amount of talent that you have, that you can, and do play every type of music that there is. Since our first trip to Hapa's we have planned all of our vacations to Maui to include at least two Mondays, we usually stay for 15 days and we have gone every year since my first trip. Thanks to Ed, he's a very nice man by the way, on our last vacation in March we found out about your tour. I didn't think "solo" would be as good as with your band, but you were great! You have so much talent! I sort of teased you at Dano's about being conceded, but I think you have no idea how great you really are. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Maui and Hapa's, thanks again for all the great music.
With great admiration
Floyd and Susan

Dear Willie:
A most pleasant day to you. I'm Angelia from Santa Barbara. I had the pleasure of experiencing your performance at Soho's last Sunday, April 21, 2002. I was also introduced to you by a mutual friend, Ron from Maui, who's daughter is one of my students. First and foremost: your guitar playing, singing, and fun with the audience was dynamic. Your talent/music is superb, mesmerizing, and definitely inspirational. Your warmth and own enjoyment for music was emoted very easily and gave it that extra measure of sheer joy to watch and listen. Thank you for the evening.
